The religious formation of the children is the central focus of the curriculum of St. Rita School. Prayer is an integral component of our faith and is encouraged throughout the day. In addition to daily religious lessons that teach the basics of faith, the curriculum is infused with gospel principles. Every student has the opportunity to attend scheduled class and whole school liturgies. During every liturgical season other focused prayer experiences and projects are undertaken to increase the understanding and love of our traditions and faith. Our gospel call is to one of excellence in all areas of our life.
Hence, our academic program is of the highest standard meeting the bar set by the local school system. In all subject areas the faculty follows the state approved diocesan graded course of study. Our teachers use a variety of instructional materials and techniques to empower the children to experience success in all subject areas. |
