Hello. My name is David Stillman and I teach Physical Education. I am an Army veteran, have a Bachelor degree in Physical Education from the University of Akron (2005), and a Masters in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University (2018). I have enjoyed a pretty amazing teaching career with more than a decade of it spent overseas in private international schools. I spent 8 years in Beijing and Shanghai, China where I become fluent in Mandarin and met my wife. I later spent two years at an isolated mountain town on the island of Papua in Indonesia and a year in Bangkok, Thailand. After coming home, I spent several years teaching Physical Education at Washington International School in D.C. and later in the Akron/Cleveland area. When I’m not teaching, coaching, or officiating, I spend a lot of time with my two young children. I also love to explore the world, cook a variety of cuisines, bass and trout fish, go hiking and camping, and jump into some pickup basketball or soccer games.
