All students entering 1st–8th grade are required to complete:
- Summer Reading Assignments (linked below)
- Summer Work by choosing ONE of the options below
All summer work and reading assignments must be completed before the first day of school and will count toward a portion of the student’s first quarter grade.
Summer Work Options–
Option 1: Summer IXL Boost
- Online access provided by Saint Rita School
- No cost to families
Option 2: Summer Solutions Workbooks
Families may also choose Summer Solutions workbooks as their summer work option. These workbooks are purchased by the parent. Please choose the Summer Solutions level that matches the grade your child has just completed.
Students will need:
- One Math workbook
- One English workbook
Summer Solutions Requirements–
Students must complete:
- 20 Math lessons
- 20 English lessons
The lessons are designed to be completed throughout the 10-week summer break and typically take only a few minutes each day. Answer keys are included in the back of each workbook.
